A selection of past experiences we've delivered
National Geographic
We designed a series of tours that spotlight Singapore's vanishing trades and cultures to promote Singapore's intangible cultures. Our expert guides delivered the tours to members of the media, professional photographers and government agencies.
Syngenta
The client was looking for ideas for their employee engagement program. We crafted an activity that combined cultural and hands-on elements while fostering interaction between co-workers. To achieve the objective, we partnered the global agricultural technology company to design a series of street art workshops and culture walks in Kampong Glam. Co-led by our expert guides and local street artists, the programme was fun and culturally immersive as participants bonded over the games and activities, culminating in a friendly competition.
Changi Airport Group
We engaged C-suite executives on a series of heritage tours that introduced to them the historic districts of Singapore including Kampong Glam, Chinatown and Civic District. In addition to fleshing out cultural components, we gave an overview of Singapore's city planning so that the delegates gained a better appreciation for the city's urban transformation.
Nanyang Technological University of Singapore
The client wanted a specialist tour of National Museum of Singapore for their VVIP spouses program. Tapping on our professional background in museum work, our expert guide hosted a private tour in the Singapore History Gallery, drawing actual personal stories and key events from the past and present.
Some of Our Fabulous Clients
Testimonials from Some of Our Clients
We engaged Rachel and her team for the tours of Singapore City Gallery and City Highlights and were extremely pleased with her team's delivery! Our MBA students learnt a lot about Singapore's development at Singapore City Gallery as the guides highlighted innovative solutions that Singapore undertakes to tackle land scarcity through a series of exhibits, including the large architectural model of Singapore's central area. We also visited must-see places and of course Marina Bay where we learnt about its urban transformation over the years. Rachel and her team were outstanding and knowledgeable, I would request them again!
- WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management
We had an amazing afternoon spending time learning the history of Tiong Bahru followed by a cultural immersion tour in Chinatown. In addition, the street food tasting was an excellent experience. Thank you Culture Curious!
- Ministry of Education
Little India Walking Tour was an eye-opening experience even for our group comprising mainly locals. Rachel shared passionately about the lesser known stories of the communities living and working in the area, allowing us to better appreciate the diverse cultures in Singapore. We enjoyed the tasting and a special DIY popiah session, a wonderful end to our walking tour in Little India.

We really, really enjoyed our time with her and would highly recommend her! She is very professional, knowledgeable, sweet and fun to be with. We will definitely spend time with her on a future visit.Tim Gemmeke2024-03-12If it wasn't for Rachel's wonderful city tour, I'd never have learnt so much about Singapore's history and culture on only one day! Rachel has an incredible knowledge treasure that goes far beyond the usual instagram spot guidance (you'll have that, too, no worries). Because of her former job in a museum, she has almost an anthropological awareness of the context modern Singapore exists in. Would give the tour a six star rating if it was possible!Marc Brehmer2024-03-12We love it!Philippp Valerius2024-03-12Following a long flight and minimal rest, we joined Rachel's tour. Highly Interesting and Relevant to Our Interests In Understanding Culture, Visual Arts and Architecture
penny, Australia
Curious about the Singaporean Art scene, we were looking to increase our knowledge and also seek hints and tips of how to spend our remaking days here. Rachel was most informative and clear in her descriptions of historical facts, with relevant visuals to support each topic. We were enamoured by the content she spoke of and she was happy to answer the MANY questions we had that deviated from her intial plan. This was a most enjoyable half day tour and we have loads of links to further sites to visit. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a clear grounding in Singaporean history, culture, art and architecture, it was totally enjoyable.
If the Best is Not Enough, Rachel Sure is!
- Christian, Austria
I hardly write a review, but when I do, then it's because the experience/service delivered was outstanding. Rachel is not just a tour guide who shows you around to places. She is a very kind and well educated person which attributes tremendously to the experience. I contacted her with my wishes and the itinerary couldn't have matched better than what I'd expected. She also has a very calm personality which helps to fully immerse in the scenery where she shows you around and the information she provides with it. Never I got the feeling it's just a run-of-the-mill and rushing to the next place. At different points throughout the tour I enjoyed to discuss with her several topics like education system in Singapore or in general social topics but also environmental ones. And for each topic she also provided knowledgeable information and integrated it seamlessly into the tour (like public subsidised housing). Rachel is really a gem and I can recommend her tour to anyone in a heartbeat.
A well-crafted tour with a refreshing perspective of Historical Singapore
- Archblood, Singapore
Tour guide Rachel has shown much zest in helping us to understand more about historical Singapore. Her energetic delivery of the past behind each place that we went — whether it’s Thian Hock Keng Temple, the Fullerton Building, or National Gallery Singapore — filled us up with little known facts that you may not find in a generalised presentation of the city-state. And she was very confident to answer our questions in respect to these things. Highly recommended if you want a refreshed perspective of familiar and lesser-known places.
