Colours of Kampong Glam:
Street Art Tour & Workshop

This tour will take you down the hidden alleys and byways of the historical district, from landmarks such as Parkview Square (affectionately known as the “Gotham building”) and Arab Street to the chill vibes of Haji Lane, before getting your creative juices flowing with some spray paint fun!

  • Learn how to create your own graffiti designs with basic spray-painting techniques taught by professional artists.

  • Make your mark on designated walls and design your own tote bag as a memorable souvenir.
  • Uncover the neighbourhood’s artistic expressions in a selection of expressive urban art reflecting the unique culture of the Malay community and vibrancy of the neighbourhood.

What To Expect

Visit the historical district of Kampong Glam. Home to the Malay community, the conserved neighbourhood has an eclectic mix of food and retail businesses alongside cultural gems.

The street art tour features expressive abstract and contemporary street art, many of which draw inspiration from the district’s unique culture and traditions.

In the street art workshop led by professional street artists, you will select from a range of pre-designed templates and be taught basic graffiti techniques before you spray paint in an outdoor community street art gallery and customise your own tote bag.
