5-star reviews from some of our amazing clients

Corliss was our tour guide for the Private Street Food Tour of Chinatown and Little India, and she was great She didn’t rush us , explained the history and cultures so we had a good understanding about the people of Singapore. The food choices were varied and delicious and she made a special effort to make sure I had special things to eat with my dietary restrictions. She spoke slowly and was easily understandable.

From the moment we booked the tour, Rachel liked after us like royalty! Great info about the tour and friendly reminders. The tour itself is an excellent mix of food (all of it delicious and accompanied with interesting stories about it) and culture and really brings a personal aspect to Singapore. We had one day in Singapore and this was a fantastic way to spend it! Definitely recommend- you’ll have fun with Rachel.

Corliss was an amazing tour guide and gave us a solid introduction to Little India. We visited places and a couple of hidden streets with cool street art that we wouldn't have known! We also went to the Indian temple and visited shops on Serangoon Road where Corliss pointed out interesting details on traditional attire of local Indian women and significance of the gold jewellery in the Indian culture. We were fed a delicious variety of street food at a crowded hawker centre and wet market complex. Cutleries and serviettes were all provided for so we didn't need to bring along anything for the tour! Would highly recommend a Little India tour as we felt we walked away with a greater appreciation for SIngapore's vibrant communities.

We had such a great experience with Rachel on the Singapore food tour! She is a wonderful guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the food culture in Singapore and worked to ensure those of us with dietary restrictions had food choices. The tour was so much fun and we highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and is highly recommended. Rachel the owner was excellent in the booking process and questions answered as needed. Our host for the day Kelvin was brilliant. He arrived on time and looked after us attentively for the whole day. The food was varied ….lots to sample…you won’t like everything but that’s the fun of trying lots of dishes! We walked, got a bus and went on the underground ….. felt like a local….which was the whole point of choosing this tour. If you only have a couple of days to enjoy Singapore….this is certainly a tour to consider. 10/10.

We wanted to experience the local food culture in Singapore but were nervous to explore on our own. Rachel provided the perfect food tour with extremely knowledgeable commentary throughout, not just about the food culture but also the history and life of locals. The food was all delicious and certainly plentiful and we sat amongst and with locals which was exactly the experience we were hoping for. Please support Rachel and don’t hesitate to book..

I just completed the Culture Curious Singapore food tour with Rachel, and honestly, it wasn't just a tour—it was the highlight of my trip. If you are looking for an experience that goes beyond simply eating and truly showcases the heart of Singapore, you absolutely must book with her. Rachel is a super informative guide whose knowledge effortlessly weaves together the history of the dishes with the broader social and cultural narrative of Singapore. The diversity of food she showcased throughout the tour was phenomenal, providing a delicious journey through the country's multi-ethnic tapestry. I sampled incredible dishes from different communities, and each bite was a lesson in how the Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Peranakan cultures have blended to create Singapore's unique identity. It wasn't just what I ate, but why—and Rachel brought that understanding to life. However, what truly elevated this tour to a 5-star-plus experience was Rachel’s unparalleled accommodation and care. The Singapore heat and humidity can be brutal, but Rachel managed the conditions expertly, making sure I was as comfortable as possible every step of the way. She was vigilant in only choosing stops that were in the shade and made multiple strategic A/C stops to give me a chance to cool down and refresh. Her thoughtful preparedness was outstanding. She came equipped with wet wipes and tissues, not just for me, but for cleaning down the surfaces of the busy hawker stalls before I sat down. She even handled the logistics of ordering entirely, letting me hang out and rest at the table while she went up to the often-crowded stalls to order food and drinks for me. It made the experience feel less like a bustling food trip and more like a pampered, insider's visit to the city’s best spots. I've previously done self-guided tours of hawker stations but having a guide allowed me to try a lot of food that I either didn't know about or wouldn't have tried without someone else encouraging me to try it. Rachel's professionalism, genuine friendliness, and deep passion for Singapore's heritage are unmatched. I left with a full stomach, a deeper appreciation for the city’s vibrant cultures, and the feeling that I had made a great friend. I cannot recommend Culture Curious and Rachel highly enough. Do yourself a favour and book their tour—it's the only way to truly experience the best of Singapore's food scene comfortably and curiuosly! And heed her pre-email warning - come with a very empty stomach - you will leave full!
