- What’s the weather and recommended attire? Light, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended for all tours. Singapore enjoys year-round equatorial climate with average temperature ranging between 25 and 31 degrees Celsius. Brief periods of rain and thunderstorm are expected but they usually pass relatively quickly. In the event of inclement weather, we will wait for the skies to clear before resuming the tour. You are advised to bring along a brolly or poncho in case it rains. Our tours run rain or shine.
- Is the tour suitable for everyone? Any age requirements? Yes! Our tour is suitable for all travellers aged 6 years and up. For children aged 5 and under, please consider our Private Singapore Food Tour, which is free of charge for them.
- Is the walking tour suitable for all fitness levels? Our walks have some steps and gentle inclines. Let us know in advance if you have any mobility condition that we should take note of for your safety and comfort.
Due to the variety of food tastings, the tour is recommended for everyone except those with dietary requirements.

Michael Azarian2024-06-01Rachel came highly recommended to us from a trusted source and she exceeded expectations! Her breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm about the history and culture of Singapore significantly enhanced our experience. She was incredibly helpful for all sorts of guidance both on and off the tour. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone visiting Singapore.Steve Wille2024-05-07Rachel was AWESOME. We really, really enjoyed our time with her and would highly recommend her! She is very professional, knowledgeable, sweet and fun to be with. We will definitely spend time with her on a future visit.Tim Gemmeke2024-03-12If it wasn't for Rachel's wonderful city tour, I'd never have learnt so much about Singapore's history and culture on only one day! Rachel has an incredible knowledge treasure that goes far beyond the usual instagram spot guidance (you'll have that, too, no worries). Because of her former job in a museum, she has almost an anthropological awareness of the context modern Singapore exists in. Would give the tour a six star rating if it was possible!Marc Brehmer2024-03-12We love it!Philippp Valerius2024-03-12Following a long flight and minimal rest, we joined Rachel's tour. Her dynamic personality immediately revitalized us, and her engaging journey through the city provided us with a thorough understanding of the rich culture it boasts.Rene2024-03-05Our company recently hired Culture Curious for a private tour of Singapore City Gallery for our overseas management. Planning was a breeze from the beginning with prompt replies and effortless coordination. Our guide Rachel expertly shares about the strategies and challenges in planning for a city state. The target audience were our guests from Europe. Rachel was very accommodating to our requests and she is very thoughtful in her approach to planning/conducting her tours. A special mention also goes out to co-guide Diana for her great commentary/story-telling whilst managing to introduce Singapore in a fun/engaging manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Culture Curious Singapore Tours to anyone wishing to understand Singapore in a more authentic way. Keep up the hard and heart work Rachel and team!
